(More customer reviews)I have tried another brand ("Urine Gone" from Target), but nothing works like Stink-free. For years, my cat sprayed the walls inside the house (no carpet). I had no idea how much he did it until I used the blacklight! He practically painted the walls in one room. Gross! One day, while he was out, we used the blacklight to find the marks and stink free to clean them. Under the blacklight, the urine shows up neon yellow. With one wipe, it erased the yellow, until the walls were all back to normal. When he came back in, he looked really confused as he sniffed around trying to find where he marked. It seemed as if he did not even recognize the house! Since then, he has not sprayed one time inside the house and that was over a year ago. THIS STUFF WORKS! Simply amazing!!!

I've tried all the odor removers out there (the enzymes, cleaners, professional carpet cleaners, diatomaceous earth, powders, granules, everything at pet stores). Then, about a year ago, someone told me about X-O. I gave it a try on a couch that a feral cat had peed on...IT WORKED and saved the couch!!! So, I began using it on all the pet accidents. It removes all the odor. I use the X-O plus cleaner, and it's amazingly effective at cleaning up the poop from the carpet. I always have this on hand, and was very happy to find it at Amazon for less than I was paying the local distributor. This is a wonderful product.

(More customer reviews)We've got too many cats. Once in a while, my 4-year old will lock one in a guest bedroom and an accident will follow. Once the accident happened, the cats felt it was open season on that spot, should they feel like it. This product really nukes the spot, but make sure you saturate it, let it sit overnight, and don't be afraid to reapply. If you can, isolate the space too, like closing the guest bedroom door for a few days to break their habit patterns.
Note: we've not tried to aerosol, just the spray.
Pro:
+ Works great
+ Dissolves old accidents too
+ Has not stained our carpets
+ Little odor (I expected something heavy I guess)
Con:
- Got to leave it on the carpet at least overnight
Bottom line: Highly recommended.

(More customer reviews)Enzyme cleaners are wonderful: safe to use and highly effective. Folex Carpet Cleaner is the first enzyme cleaner that I used (large white spray bottle (bigger than this) with purple ink). It worked really well and I only needed a small amount. It zapped up everything. This one seems to be a little less effective than Folex and it's a touch more expensive.
I've also used Wine Away, which seems a little stronger than this product but it is more expensive and the bottle is much smaller. Happily I've learned how to make enzyme cleaner at home so I'll buy less of it now.

I have cats. My cats are now being kept indoors and they don't much like it. I know this because I get daily reminders on my carpet and bed. Thank heavens for Pee Whiz! It does work and does what it says. I've used lots of the enzymatic cleaners in my day and most of them work pretty well. The thing I really like about Pee Whiz (besides the pleasant fragrance and the fact that it gets rid of smells and stains from cat poo,urine and vomit) is that - unlike its competitors - it doesn't leave a sticky residue behind on carpets and floors that you discover several days later when there is a big dirty spot where the pet "accident" used to be. It is just clean. I even experimented on a blood stain on my carpet by putting the Pee Whiz on it and it did actually dissolve the whole stain. It did take two applications of the Pee Whiz to do this but it only took a few hours to totally dissolve the blood stain which had been dry. Pee Whiz works and it works well and -- bonus!-- it's cheaper than most all its competitors!

(More customer reviews)Okay, so after moving into my new house I was hoping beyond all hope that my little pug wouldn't pee on the carpet. Well, here I am five months later and, low and behold, the little stinker strikes! So let me get to the point here. Nature's Miracle does work. However, it works at its best when used in the following manner. When your little pet strikes, take a few paper towels and GENTLY soak up as much of the pee as you can. Repeat this process with many paper towels until you have soaked up as much as you can. DO NOT RUB, DO NOT ADD WATER! Now get yourself a measuring cup, and here is why you buy the gallon sized. Pour between 6-8 ounces of the product over the spot. This is about how much pee comes out of a little dog, so you want to match that. Let the product soak in the spot and dry as long as it needs. Do not simply spray the spot, because, trust me, the pee HAS gone down to the pad, and a little spray will not do the job. Now, after the spot has dried, you may want to apply to spray, just for a little extra treatment. I had a 24 ounce spray bottle that I refilled with the gallon, but it left me with plenty to treat the problem initially the way I had described.

Our carpet is olefin, and not supposed to stain. This spray not only smells great and removes odor, but it removed two year old stains from vomit after a pet's battle with cancer. It even worked through the multitude of solutions I had tried on the same places in the carpet, even after Stanley Steemer tried twice. The loss of the pet was horrific and the stains were a constant reminder. I cannot say how it would work on nylon carpet, but I do highly recommend trying it.

Before using this, we used various industrial strength chemicals, and nothing compares to the success we've had after switching to this baking powder. we sprinkle it as soon as we enter the room, and as we leave, vacuum (~15 min after sprinkling it). After switching, we haven't had even one guest complaint about the smell.
I STRONGLY recommend this to anyone who's trying to get out any ciggerette, alcohol, pungent odor.

I found 3 different items which looked good so I bought them all. Natures Miracle, Kids and Pets, and Simple Solution. The Kids and pets smelled so strongly on its own I think it was worse than the urine smell. The Simple solution works, but you need to use a lot and it too has its own odor. That means lots of litter boxes and hair balls.Over the years I have tried almost every stain and odor remover out there. Some are better than others. Some don't work at all. I have found pretty good stain removers but only fair odor removers - until now. Fizzion really works. I gave it the hardest test - remove odors from the litter boxes. I emptied and washed the boxes then sprayed half with Fizzion and and half with the next best I have found, then let them dry. The Fizzion boxes smelled better than new. The cats sure noticed.
