After following the directions, and applying a second time to the heavier stained areas, the smell was nearly gone after waiting one weekend for the cleaner to do its work! I was amazed. (More customer reviews)I am buying for the 2nd time. I bought the first time because my daughters diaper kept leaking and I had to find a way of getting rid of the smell. I found 3 different items which looked good so I bought them all. Natures Miracle, Kids and Pets, and Simple Solution. The Kids and pets smelled so strongly on its own I think it was worse than the urine smell. The Simple solution works, but you need to use a lot and it too has its own odor. The Natures Miracle is by far the best and has no residual odor at all. Thank you Natures Miracle you have earned my business for life.

(More customer reviews)You can buy this or you can make your own. It's obvious that it has a good amount of peroxide in it (your fingers turn white when you get it on them). I would not buy again because I already make my own mix of peroxide, detergent and a bit of rubbing alcohol. It works just as well as AKC - (trial it on fabric first because too much peroxide will bleach).

(More customer reviews)Of course, this is the kind of product you're slightly embarassed to admit you need, but if you have cat(s) you inevitably will.
This product does take care of odor and works really well on carpets. Contrary to the manufacturer's claim, it will not reverse cat pee damage to fabric and wood (the bleach and dye effect), but we all knew that was too good to be true, didn't we?
We've found that if you saturate the area, let it dry for a LONG time--like several days--treat it again, and then clean the carpet, it does remove the (ahem) evidence. In our house it seems to remove all of it, but we're not unusually sensitive. I suppose if you're really nose-conscious, you wouldn't have cats in the first place.
I recommend buying it in gallons, because it takes a lot of product to treat an area. I also recommend buying a small pump sprayer (ACE Hardware, about seven dollars), because a spray bottle neither covers evenly, nor holds enough.
I wish I could train the cats to do it themselves.

We actually don't have any kitties ourselves, but a while back we watched my sister's kitty Diva and she was not happy at our house so she decided to pee on things. First my purse, then onto the carpet. It wasn't long before the odor became overwhelming, but we couldn't see every where she had done it. I bought a small black light and was horrified to see that she had gone in at least a dozen places. After applying the product to these areas and following the directions, I can't believe the smell is gone! I was so impressed I decided to try it on other areas of the house like in the bathroom. My little boys sometimes miss the toilet and this product works great on that also! Thank you!

(More customer reviews)This is the best cleaner I've ever found! I have two cats, and periodically the older one will have an accident. I could never find anything to get the smell out until this! It completely removes the smell and gets the stain out of any fabric or upholstery. I've given bottles of it to my family and friends and it gets out just about anything. The only thing I've found that it doesn't work on is toner from a printer cartridge, but nothing works on that. I'd recommend it to everyone because it works and is safe and non-toxic, which anyone with a pet or small child can really appreciate. ******** It's over a year since I posted this and I still haven't found anything that even comes close. I've used it on everything and all types of fabric. There's never been a problem with color fastness or completely removing the odor/stain. I've actually started pouring in a capful on almost every wash cycle I do. Makes sure that everything comes out smelling great and stain free. I'm still telling everyone I know about it.
