(More customer reviews)It was advertised as unscented. However, the bottle says fresh clean scent, and "perfume" is listed in the ingredients. The scent is still just as powerful as regular store bought Febreze. Also note, as I found out after purchasing this, Febreze's FAQ states that they do not offer an unscented fabric refresher.

(More customer reviews)As a smoker & pet owner, this stuff works great. However, it's hard to find anywhere, but the places who do carry it, sell it for around only 12 bucks. If you can't find it anywhere, I guess you'll have to pay this higher price. It works fine diluted with lots of water, so it lasts a real long time.

So the trash smells like plastic and trash, and the fridge like cold and old food, but none of the awful smells linger.
