I already ordered a few other items and was a little frustrated with some of the items not matching product descriptions or web images. For example, I ordered curtain panels and the color didn't match the web image at all. It was supposed to be a rich and vibrant blue; however, when I saw the panel in person the color was dull and faded. Anyway, that's another review!
The picture for this area rug looked like a good match so I took a chance on it and I must say this rug did not disappoint. It looks great in my son's room and blends well with the decor. I bought rug tape just in case the rug didn't stay in place, but it actually stays put! My son has been rolling and flipping all over the rug and the rug hardly budged.
In addition to looking great, the rug feels very soft and plush. The acrylic fiber combined with the soft sponge backing provide a nice cushion for my son's tumbling around the room. The product description indicates that the rug is machine washable, but this is a fairly large rug (5' x 7') and I can't image that it would fit into any standard sized washing machine. I gave the rug 4 stars instead of 5 because, while the image looks very nice and the rug looks great on camera, the colors and shading for Mater could be better. Overall, I am satisfied with both the price and quality of the rug.
